Lee’s Problem

Lee is Vice President of Sales at ACE, and the company’s future. ACE Rolloff Trailer & Lugger Trucks in Cleveland, Ohio has been operating since 1938.  As a younger person, Lee saw the importance of digital marketing and felt that if ACE didn’t start making some changes to their current strategy, they’d be left behind.

So four years ago he came to us. ACE were actively attending expo’s across the country to create brand awareness, but they had a dated website that was difficult to use, no SEO, and branding inconsistencies.

Ausmer’s Solution

A WEBSITE OVERHAUL

ACE’s website was poorly laid out, looked outdated and wasn’t exciting. It needed a new look. Also, their previous marketing team had designed their website on a platform that wasn’t user friendly. That meant ACE had to go to them to make any changes, no matter how big or small.

Our solution: We gave them a full website redesign and put their website onto Wordpress, a relatively easy platform that lets Lee make changes anytime.

A SEO OVERHAUL

Their website was not SEO friendly, which meant they ranked low on Google for important keywords. When a potential customers Googled “lugger truck”, “crush car hauler” or “intermodal tipper”, ACE was not even on the first search page, despite specalising in all those products.

Our solution: Jake revamped the words on every page to improve their search results. He also  used other tricks of the trade, such as backlink building, blog posting, and and page indexing to improve their SEO.

A BRAND OVERHAUL

ACE were torn between two different business names – their original (ACE) and a new name suggested because ACE was too common to have a .com. 

Our solution: We stuck with ACE, but branded their website The ACE Advantage keeping their preferred name, making it memorable, and getting them that all important .com.
